MK Bezalel Smotrich announced that he would be running for head of the National Union party in their primary elections in a statement on Friday morning. In the statement he made, Smotrich explained that 'the election campaign will be brief, matter-of-fact and immediately following, we will all unite behind the leadership that you see fit.'
