MK Alex Miller (Israel Beiteinu) on Monday commented on MK Ahmed Tibi's bill proposing to remove funding for organizations that refuse to recognize the Nakba, saying, "This proposal is just another attempt to undermine the right of the State of Israel to exist as a Jewish and democratic state."

"I am rquesting that the bill be rejected immediately and that foolish attempts by MK Tibi to harm Israel's sovereignty be prevented."

Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin and his deputies on Monday were expected to determine whether Tibi's bill is qualified to be discussed in the Knesset.
