Ma'alot-Tarshiha Mayor Shlomo Bohbot on Sunday filed a complaint with local police alleging that he was physically assaulted by a local man. Bohbot's complaint alleges that a 23-year-old resident of the Galilee town assaulted him at the end of a local city council meeting. Bohbot was not injured in the incident. Police have detained the suspect in order to hear his version of events before deciding whether to make an arrest.
