Head of the Palestinian Detainees Center Qaddoura Fares announced on Sunday that another 20 prisoners in Israel's Ashkelon prison will join in a hunger strike that began six days ago by Palestinian detainees, according to the Ma'an news agency.

The detainees are striking in order to demand an end to the practice of putting prisoners in solitary confinement.
