Major north TA road partially closed for bridge repair

A major north Tel Aviv road was closed by the city and police on Wednesday without prior warning, in order to carry out maintenance on a flyover bridge.

The closure will shut down eastbound traffic on Rokach boulevard from Ivn Gvirol to the Ayalon Freeway, as well as Bnei Efraim street south from the Kakal Junction to Rokach.

The closure went into effect on Wednesday at 11:30 am and will last until 6 am on Thursday.

Police have asked residents to avoid driving in that area of north Tel Aviv during the closures if at all possible to avoid worsening the already heavier than usual gridlock.
