Man, 24, shot and killed at Acre gas station

A 24-year-old man with a criminal record was shot dead at a gas station in Acre on Wednesday night. Police said the homicide victim had been shot as he stood in the store of the gas station.
Large numbers of police arrived on the scene and cordoned off the station, as forensic officers searched the crime scene for evidence.
Initial reports said two masked men fled from the scene. One suspect in his 20s was arrested overnight by police in connection with the slaying.
