A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured on Gordon Street in Ashdod on Tuesday morning. 

Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene and evacuated the man, aged 50, to Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. He was suffering from injuries to his head.
