The man shot by masked gunmen next to the “Tahana” complex in Tel Aviv on Saturday afternoon was identified as Taher Lala, 27, of Jaffa. He was familiar to the Israel Police.

The incident, which police suspected was a mob-hit, took place next to the beachfront in south Tel Aviv at a time when the area was full of hundreds of innocent bystanders visiting the area on Shabbat.
