Man killed in shooting near Hebron: Police Deputy Maj. Gen. Baruch Mizrachi

Baruch Mizrachi a Deputy Major General in the police was the person killed yesterday in a shooting near Hebron on Monday. He was an officer in the investigation and intelligence unit of the police. 

The 40-year-old, was pronounced dead after attempts at resuscitation, while his 28-year-old wife was in moderate condition after suffering injuries to her upper body, according to Magen David Adom. She was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for further treatment.

A nine-year-old boy suffered light wounds from shrapnel in his chest. He was taken to Hadassah University Medical Center at Ein Kerem. 

The family was driving near Hebron on their way to a Passover when the attack occurred.
