Israeli security forces Wednesday shot and injured a suspect who attempted to run through the Kalandia checkpoint in Jerusalem while shouting Allahu Akbar (God is Great).

Security forces then initiated arrest protocols, including shooting in the air while warning the suspect to stop. When the suspect refused to comply and continued running, he was subsequently shot by security forces.

The suspect was transferred to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in moderate condition. More details are expected to follow.
