Man whose drunk driving killed teenage girl gets 30 months in jail

The Beersheba District Court on Tuesday sentenced Valeri Chernov to two-and-a-half years in prison for killing a 16-year-old girl in an Ashdod car accident three years ago. 26-year-old Chernov, who was drunk and speeding, lost control of his car, which overturned. Two passengers who were not wearing seat belts, including 16-year-old Anna Bolshakov, were flung from the car and seriously injured. Bolshakov died of her injuries.
