Three people were injured, one seriously and two lightly, on Wednesday afternoon when a car crashed into a safety barrier in the east Jerusalem segment of Highway 60, between Ofra and Michmash, in the Mateh Binyamin area.
Two of the passengers were lightly injured, while the third, a 20-year-old, had to undergo a full amputation of one of his legs.
An MDA team evacuated all three passengers to Hadassah University Medical Center in Ein Kerem.
