Labor politician Merav Michaeli who won 7th place at the party's elections on Sunday offered her thanks to the members who voted for her saying "this is a vote of confidence in my struggle and work for equality and peace,"

"Ever since it was founded Labor carried the three banners, for state, civic society and social justice, I will fight on so the party will continue to do so," she said. Itzik Shmuli, who won 3'd place in Labor's elections, thanked the voters and said that "this is the biggest show of trust I could have hoped for today."

"The Labor party gives the [Israeli] public the most diverse and high quality team so that tomorrow morning it will run forward together without fear, so that the party which created the country can re-storm the position of leading it."
