Meretz MK Tamar Zanderberg said Wednesday in response to President Trump's pulling out of the Paris Climate Deal that "this isn't a Twitter joke- this is a threat to the future of the whole human race. The Climate Deal is a great achievement and a breakthrough that a group of leaders led out of a responsibility to their nations citizens and a responsibility of the richest nations to the less rich [nations] of the world."

She further stated that "climate [change] denial is the biggest fake news of history and it must be made sure that Trump's determination to destroy all of Obama's achievements will not cost the rest of the world too heavy a price."
