Minibus driver Yashar Yeshurun, who was involved in the train collision which killed seven in Kiryat Gat last week, has been released to house arrest for five days, Israel Radio reported Tuesday.

Yeshurun apologized for his actions during his court hearing and his attorney said that at the time, he did not see the train track signs and barrier warnings due to conditions on the road.
