Interior Minister Aryeh Deri signed on Monday a travel ban against Mohammed Arnout, an Israeli citizen and Hamas activist living in Jerusalem.
Deri signed the ban following the General Security Agency recommendation, fearing that Arnout traveling abroad could harm Israel's security due to his connections to other Hamas activists abroad.
"I continue to act against the attempts of Hamas members to promote terrorist activity in Israel," Deri commented.
