US envoy George Mitchell met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah Tuesday without reaching any agreement, Israel Radio reported.

After the three-hour meeting, Palestinian official Saeb Erakat announced that the US has not met Palestinian demands yet has not rejected them either.

He added that the two sides will continue to propose ideas and Mitchell will continue in his effort to renew the peace process.
