Mossad mourns death of Peres; lauds his contribution to Israel's security

Mossad Director Yossi Cohen expressed his condolences on behalf of Israel's intelligence agency over the death Wednesday of former president Shimon Peres at age 93.

Cohen recounted that Peres had worked for years with the agency on the issue of Israel's security, and lauded the veteran statesman as "as symbol of peace and brotherhood" who "made an enormous contribution to strengthen Israel's security."
