Mother suspected of stabbing to death 2 children, attempting suicide

A 40-year-old Jerusalem woman is suspected of stabbing to death her two children and then trying to take her own life, Israel Radio reported on Monday morning.

The children, a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, were found dead in an apartment in Ein Gedi street in the capital with multiple stab wounds to their upper bodies.

The woman was also found in the apartment with multiple stab wounds to her upper body, and was taken in critical condition to Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem.
