A gathering of Muslim women in Jerusalem's Old City turned violent on Sunday, after one woman began to attack a team of police officers near Damascus Gate and threw stones at them.

Security forces arrested the woman. Following her arrest, police officers dispersed a group of Arab youth that began to gather in the area.

Order was restored and the suspect was brought in for questioning.
