A Palestinian was arrested for planning to kill an IDF soldier, Army Radio reported on Wednesday.

The man was stopped at a checkpoint near Nablus when police and soldiers noticed he was carrying a pistol. During the ensuing body search, the man attempted to draw a concealed knife on the policemen.

He was stopped and arrested for further investigation. Investigators say the man admitted to his plans to kill an Israeli soldier.
