Private Roi (Israel) Alphi of Gan Yavne is the name of the the IDF Engineering Corps. soldier who was killed while taking part in the clearing of a minefield in the southern Golan Heights on Tuesday. The mine exploded for unknown reasons during an advanced training phase of the Engineering Corps, a senior army source said.
