Nasrallah: US strikes on ISIS pale in comparison to Israeli strikes in Lebanon during 2006 war

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah belittled the US-led coalition's attacks on Islamic State fighters in comments carried in Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar on Tuesday.

Nasrallah said that the air raids being carried out by the coalition against Islamic State pale in comparison to Israel's air strikes in Lebanon during the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

The Hezbollah leader accused the US of using the Islamic State threat to frighten the countries in the region and blackmail them as a prelude to impose its hegemony in the region, particularly in Syria and Iraq.
