Neo-nazi gang leader sent to prison for 5 years, 9 months

Dmitry Bogotich, the leader of a Petah Tikva neo-Nazi gang, was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison on Thursday.
The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced 24-year-old Bogotich after his defense team signed a plea bargain with the State Attorney's Office. According to the plea bargain, Bogotich admitted that the offenses of racially motivated aggravated assault, publishing racist material and incitement to racism.Bogotich's Petah Tikva-based gang, 'Patrol 36', had a neo-Nazi ideology and carried out hate crimes against religious Jews, the homeless, drug addicts and foreign workers.
Bogotich was arrested in January following his extradition from Kyrgystan, where he had fled  in 2007 after police arrested eight members of the gang.
