Netanyahu, Liberman meet for further coalition talks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman to discuss coalition negotiations, ahead of a May 6 deadline.
The two failed to reach an agreement despite the positive atmosphere of the meeting.
Sources close to Liberman said that he did not make it difficult for Netanyahu regarding ministerial positions, but that he would not be willing to allow policy to shift backwards on issues like conversion and military recruitment.
