Netanya officer fires gun in order to scare off prowler

A Netanya police officer fired his handgun in order to scare off a burglar on Monday night. The burglar escaped the apartment unharmed, Israel Radio reported. In his interrogation, the officer explained that he was forced to fire a warning shot at one of the walls of his house because he feared for his life and the lives of his children.
