Netanyahu: Israel does not accept ultimatums from Hamas

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the weekly cabinet meeting Sunday that Israel will not accept Hamas's demand for $15 million per month in exchange for calm.
"There is no way Israel will accept this offer", said Netanyahu. "We will continue to act only according to Israel's interest and for the sake of Israel's security."
This response comes after Saturday's demand from Hamas for monthly payments of $15 million to prevent further escalation from Gaza.
