Netanyahu: Nearly a billion shekels going toward Jerusalem development

The government is adding nearly a billion shekels to development projects in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday at a cabinet meeting ahead of Jerusalem Day on Sunday.
The premier stated that a NIS 850 allocation has been added to fund technological and social undertakings in the capital.
"Jerusalem is changing," he said at the first cabinet meeting attended by the government's newest ministers - Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, Immigration and Aliya Absorption Minister Sofa Landver and Minister-without-portfolio Tzachi Hanegbi.
