Netanyahu: Time for 'squabbling over preconditions' to stop

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that it was time that "squabbling over preconditions" gave way to the resumption of direct peace talks with the Palestinians.
Netanyahu, speaking at a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw, said that he wants to see the US effort to restart peace talks led by Secretary of State John Kerry succeed.
"My goal is to see a historic compromise that ends the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians once and for all," Netanyahu stated.
The prime minister stated that such a peace entailed a demilitarized Palestinian state that recognizes Israel as the Jewish state and "ironclad security arrangements for Israel."
" I am ready for such a peace. I hope the Palestinians are ready too," Netanyahu stated.
