“Since Thursday we are flooded with countless displays of support,” said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meaning the support given to him and his wife at the face of corruption charges, “I want to thank the many citizens of Israel who embrace us at this time,” he said.
Netanyahu streamed the speech live on social media after a recent decision by the elections committee demanded his speech be delayed by 10 minutes when it’s aired on television to ensure it is not election propaganda.
