Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the shooting attack which killed an Israeli couple in the northern West Bank on Thursday evening.

"This is a difficult day for the State of Israel," Netanyahu said in a statement to the press during his trip to New York, where he is attending the UN General Assembly meeting.

"We are witnesses to an especially cruel, shocking act in which parents are murdered, leaving behind four little orphans," the premier said. "My heart is with the children, all of our hearts are with the children and the family."
