Netanyahu meets Italian minister, discusses Iran and further cooperation

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu briefed the Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi on Iran's threat in Syria.
The two met in Netanyahu's office in Jerusalem, as Netanyahu reviewed Iran's attempts to expand its military roots in Syria, creating a threat to the stability of the Middle East.
They also examined ways to increase the cooperation of the two countries in the fields of technology and innovation, as well as discussed the topic of the East Med Pipeline Project, delivering natural gas from Israel via Cyprus, Crete and Greece to reach southeast Italy, and supplying Europe with 125 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually by 2030.
