Netanyahu requests meeting with National Union heads, Smotrich refuses

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is stepping up his efforts to unify the small right-wing parties and summoned the leaders of the union between the Jewish Home and the National Union to a meeting on Monday evening.
Netanyahu turned to Rabbi Rafi Peretz and MK Bezalel Smotrich with an "attempt to save the right-wing bloc" and intends to bring the two parties together with Kahane's "power for Israel."
At this stage, however, Smotrich refuses to attend the meeting.
