Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the desecration of graves in a French Jewish cemetery, according to ynet news, saying "A shocking thing happened today, 80 Jewish graves were desecrated with Nazi symbols by wild antisemites. I call on all the leaders of France and Europe to stand firmly against antisemitism."

Netanyahu added that antisemitism "is a plague which endangers everyone, not just us, and it must be condemned in every place and every time that it raises its head."
