Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at a press conference on Wednesday that he spoke to US Secretary of State John Kerry today, and yesterday, and had "a good conversation."

He also said that during Operation Protective Edge, he spoke to US President Barack Obama "about 4 times."

He said that ties between Israel and the US are stronger than ever, and stronger than they appear to the outside world. He also said he wanted to thank the US for the additional funding granted for the Iron Dome missile defense system.
