Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed sympathy to Egypt Wednesday on behalf of Israel in light of attacks carried out earlier in the day by ISIS-affiliated terrorists in North Sinai, which left at least 50 dead.

"We send out condolences to the Egyptian government, to the Egyptian people and to the families of the Egyptians who were slaughtered by this merciless terror," the premier said in a meeting with foreign ambassadors in Jerusalem.
