Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed the Monday High Court ruling overturning his decision as minister not to allow roughly 100 Palestinian residents of the West Bank to enter Israel.

Saying the decision was "wrong and disappointing”, Netanyahu said, "there is no place to have a memorial service that compares the blood of our sons and those of terrorists." The Palestinians mean to enter Israel to take part in a Tuesday memorial service in which Jews and Arabs will honor the victims of aggression on both sides of the conflict.

In the ruling, the court said that the argument these Palestinians are related to terrorists is false.

Netanyahu further said he thinks the court "had no reason to interfere with my decision."
