Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has summoned Education Minister and Bayit Yehudi leader Rafi Peretz for an urgent meeting to discuss the notion of merges among the political parties.

The meeting would likely focus on latest political events, such as the merging of Orly Levy-Abecassis' Gesher with Labor, Amir Peretz's claim that Labor will not join Meretz or Ehud Barak's party, and Ayelet Shaked's announcement expected to be made later on Sunday, where she would be heading the New Right along with Naftali Bennett.
