Netanyahu supports State Comptroller report on fire service

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday expressed appreciation the in-depth report on the Fire and Rescue Service by State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss and said the he will adopt its conclusions and will implement them as quickly as possible.
Netanyahu instructed the interministerial team chaired by the PMO Director-General Eyal Gabai to discuss the report's recommendations next week, with the intent to implement them.
In addition, the prime minister instructed his military secretary, Maj.-Gen. Yohanan Loaker to present in the coming days a proposal to establish an aerial firefighting force to deal with large-scale wildfires.
