Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was scheduled to meet with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades on Sunday evening in Jerusalem.
Speaking at the cabinet meeting on Sunday morning ahead of the meeting, Netanyahu stated that relations between the two nations are vital in light of recent developments in the region.
"We will certainly discuss the various developments in the region along with the issue of gas and gas supply," he said.
