Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu came late to the Knesset on Monday because of
a last-minute decision to visit his wife Sara¹s father, Shmuel Ben-Artzi, at
Jerusalem¹s Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital.
Ben-Artzi's son Hagi said his
father, who is 97 years-old, has been suffering from what he called "medical
complications" and that Netanyahu came to the hospital because Ben-Artzi
underwent a "special medical procedure." Shmuel Ben-Artzi was a lecturer at
Teachers College in Nahalal and authored several books.
"We hope he can
get him out of what he has been going through with the help of God and the good
doctors of Hadassah," Hagi Ben-Artzi said.
