Activists for the release of captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit will launch a new campaign next to mark exactly 5 years since the day Schalit was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists.

The campaign involves 24 public figures and celebrities who will sit in a closed, dark cell for an hour each to simulate the the cell in which Schalit is believed to have been kept in.

The figures taking part in the campaign include actress Gila Almagor and actor Oz Zehavi, and former Mossad chief Danny Yatom.
