At least seven people were arrested during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday for trying to disrupt the event to protest the grand jury's decision not to indict Missouri police officer Darren Wilson for shooting Missouri teenager Mike Brown.

The protesters had vowed on social media to protest the parade.

The six men and women were detained by the police before the start of the parade.

Their exact charge has not been released by the New York Police Department.
