Nitzan Horowitz voted head of Meretz, first openly gay leader of Israeli party

Nitzan Horowitz will lead Meretz, the party announced on Thursday, the first openly gay leader of an Israeli party.

Horowitz received 458 votes while Tamar Zandberg, the previous leader, received 388.
