Not too sweet: 'Milky' prices 67% above overall food jumps

The price of the Strauss pudding snack Milky was 67 percent higher than the the overall increase in foodstuff prices not including fruits and vegetable, the price-monitoring firm E.C. Neilson said Thursday according to Israel Radio.

Strauss responded to the claims, saying that their business and price indexes were open and transparent, and one could clearly see that the overall increase in their dairy products was in conjunction with the rise in prices of raw materials, energy, and other basic items.
