OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Nitzan Alon briefed the heads of settlements on Thursday on recent security developments in Judea and Samaria, as well as steps taken by the IDF to boost security.

Steps such as increasing the number of battalions in the area, and beefing up patrols on roads and near transportation hubs were discussed in the meeting.

Alon stressed the importance of cooperation with community security guards in order to help control the surge in violence.
