Obama aides reassure Herzog efforts against Islamic State won't detract from Iran nuclear issue

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog met in the White House Tuesday with Obama's chief of staff Denis McDonough and deputy national security adviser Tony Blinken.
They reassured Herzog that the efforts against the Islamic State organization would not detract from the quest to prevent the nuclearization of Iran.
"Even though the Israeli government continues to insist on fighting the American administration over and over again, I found understanding ears in the White House who are giving Israel full support," the Labor leader said.
