President Barack Obama will meet the Dalai Lama on Wednesday at the White House, the White House said.

The two will meet privately at 10:15 a.m. ET, it said in a statement.

China has branded the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan Buddhist spiritual leader, a dangerous separatist.
