On Monday, 86 rockets and mortars fired into Israel from Gaza

From midnight to 10pm Monday, 86 rockets and mortars were fired into Israel from Gaza, the IDF Spokesperson's Office said, adding that of these, five were shot down by the Iron Dome system. 


They said that 63 hit within Israel, and that at least one soldier was hurt by shrapnel from a mortar that landed near the border with Gaza. 


Earlier in the day, one person was lightly injured in the Sdot Hanegev Regional Council.
