One person was killed and 19 injured in a road accident after a bus hit a safety barrier and a tow truck on Route 5 Thursday morning.

Magen David Adom Yarkon crews pronounced the death of the bus driver, aged 64, at the scene.

The 12 injured were in light condition and were evacuated to local hospitals.

The bus carried foreign workers from Turkey.
